ブルキナファソ大統領が公式実務訪問賓客として平成30年11月18日から22日まで訪日され、ブルキナファソ国籍で本学大学院経済研究科に在学するABEイニシアティブ研修員、ロンポ・ミエバ・ジョセフさんが東京での行程に随行し、同国大使館主催の日本―ブルキナファソビジネスフォーラムでスピーチを行いました。

ロンポさんは、「大統領と公の場で両国の発展について意見交換ができたことを光栄に思い、またとない貴重な機会をいただけたことに深く感謝しています」と語ってくれました。ロンポさんが日本とブルキナファソの架け橋となってくれることを期待しています。

Graduate School Student came along with President of Burkina Faso

The Burkina Faso president and his delegation was in Japan from 18th to 22nd November, 2018 for official visit. Our graduate student, Mr. LOMPO MIYIEBA JOSEPH spent that period of four days with the president and he had chance to discuss with the president about issues related to economic development of Japan. The Embassy of Burkina Faso organized Japan-Burkina business forum and he gave a speech there.

He said, “It was a very important opportunity to discuss about strengthen the bilateral relationship between Japan and Burkina Faso through an open discussion with the president, ministers and other important personalities.”

We wish he will be a mediator between two countries.
